Marianne Vos viste VM-form på hjemmebane

Marianne Vos (VM3) viste søndag, at hun er klar til VM i næste weekend i Luxembourg ved at vinde sidste afdeling af kvindernes World Cup i Hoogerheide. Det var en meget populær hjemmebanesejr til hollænderen, som sejrede foran Lucinda Brand (Sunweb) og unge Annemarie Worst (Mijn Bad Liv-Giant).

Sophie de Boer (Breepark) sluttede på syvendepladsen i dagens løb, men hun havde allerede sikret den samlede World Cup sejr i sidste weekend i Fiuggi (Italien). 

Dagens rute var hurtig og frossen, og det gav et spændende løb, hvor der ikke var store forskelle. 

"Jamen, jeg har følt mig godt tilpas de seneste par uger, men det er godt have sådan et løb og sidste forberedelse," forklarede Marianne Vos efter sejren til Sporza. 

Vos vil ikke sige, at hun var sikker på at vinde VM-sejren næste weekend. "Sådan er ikke endnu. Jeg vandt denne World Cup sejr nu, men selvfølgelig er jeg allerede fokuseret på næste weekend." 

Hvis Marianne Vos vinder VM-titlen i cykel cross, så vil det være hendes ottende sejr.
