De to ryttere kom hjem med 55 sekunder til nærmeste forfølgere. Derved overtog Greg Van Avermaet løbets førertrøje, men den mister han formentlig i morgen til Stijn Devolder, når der skal køres en 16,7 km lange enkeltstart.
