Mortensen fremme i Tour of Britain

nullEtapen bød på et udbrud, hvor to ryttere kom fri, men feltet havde hele tiden styr på begivenhederne. En af de to ryttere, der var i udbrud, det var danske Martin Mortensen, som nu er nummer tre samlet og fører bjergkonkurrencen.

I massespurten var Christopher Sutton (Garmin) stærkest og sejrede foran Michele Merlo (Barloworld) og Ben Swift (Katusha).

Samlet betyder det, at Christopher Sutton fører samlet. Tour of Britain køres over otte etaper og slutter på næste lørdag i London.
