Klemme bragte Leopard-Trek på tavlen

Belgieren Björn Leukemans (Vacansoleil-DCM) viste ellers imponerende kørelyst i dag, men med små seks kilometer til mål måtte han indse, at han ikke længere kunne holde forfølgerne væk.

Få kilometer senere rykkede Kevin Ista (Cofidis) væk og så ud til at have sikret sig sejren. På den sidste kilometer opad lykkedes det dog Dominik Klemme at indhente og passere Cofidis rytteren og dermed sikre det nye hold deres første sejr.
