Rick Flens vandt enkeltstarten

Det blev en overraskende vinder, da Rabobanks Rick Flens vandt enkeltstarten i tiden 14.48 foran endnu en ung rytter - nemlig Roman Kreuziger (Liquigas) og Marco Pinotti (T-Mobile).

Bedste dansker blev det unge danske talent André Steensen, som dermed avancerer pænt i klassementet. Glud & Marstrand Horsens rytteren var kun få hundrededele af et sekund fra at snuppe det nederste trin på podiet fra Marco Pinotti.

I det samlede klassement overtager Kurt Asle Arvesen (Team CSC) førertrøjen foran Enrico Gasparotto (Liquigas) og Matti Breschel (Team CSC).

Aftenens resultat betyder også, at det næsten er sikkert, at den samlede vinder af Post Danmark Rundt bliver Kurt Asle Arvesen.
