nullEfter en suveræn sejr til Matti Breschel i gårsdagens massespurt, forsøgte Team CSC holdet også på dagens etape at køre deres danske es frem til endnu en sejr. Det lykkedes dog ikke lige så godt, så Matti måtte nøjes med en sjetteplads.

Det betyder dog, at Matti Breschel stadigvæk er indehaver af løbet pointtrøje. Han har fire point ned til Wesley Sulzberger (South Australia.com – AIS), som sluttede lige foran ham i dag.

Dagens vinder blev Borut Bozic (Team LPR), som i finalen kastede cyklen ind over stregen, så han kunne vinde foran T-Mobiles Bernhard Eisel.

I den samlede stilling er det stadigvæk Stijn Vandenberg (Unibet.com) som fører med 20 sekunder ned til Team CSCs svensker Marcus Ljungqvist.

I morgen skal rytterne ud på hele 232,5 kilometer, og Team CSCs sportsdirektør Kim Andersen er klar til at angribe. ”I morgen venter en lang etape med en hel del små veje og lidt bakker hist og her, så får vi måske en mulighed for at sætte et angreb ind. Det blæser ganske enkelt ikke nok til at forsøge noget på de helt flade etaper, men hvis muligheden opstår, prøver vi selvfølgelig”, siger Kim Andersen til team-csc.com.
